VISION

To be a space for contemplating "contemporaneity" through art.

MISSION

Artistic expression, which seamlessly transcends boundaries and is diverse, personal, and social, has created numerous possibilities beyond people's imagination. Reflecting on art means reflecting on our past, present, and future. UESHIMA MUSEUM sees the significance and mission of collecting artworks to cultivate true freedom of imagination and innovative thinking, as well as to pass on the perspectives and challenges artists present through their works to the next generation.

Through a wide range of activities including creating opportunities to support young artists and collaborating with educational institutions, the museum aims to contribute to the revitalization of the art scene and aspire to embody "contemporaneity" while living in society.
